DAY 2: IG x Dragon Caliber Esports Partnership

For day two of our ten day countdown, we are excited to announce the 11th esports organisation to join the IGGalaxy — Dragon Caliber Esports. We are excited to add another committed esports organisation to the fold. Another organisation that has become a founding participant within our competitive gaming ecosystem.

As with our other 10 esports partners, Dragon Caliber will have 100 million branded token created on the TRON blockchain. These tokens will be utilised within Dragon Caliber’s sub-ecosystem as a tool for community engagement and marketing, providing our partner with a unique value proposition.

Dragon Caliber Esports — An Overview

Dragon Caliber Esports (DCE) began as just a small community of friends that wanted to compete in the gaming world. Since then, they have grown into a respectable brand within the Pacific North West region of USA.

Dragon Caliber aims to not only push to be the best, but also ensure we add value to our community through a strong brand.

Team:

The core staff includes Nicholas “TorrN_” Torres and Ryan “Aieru” Hagashi. They both wanted to make an impact on where the world of competitive gaming was going and decided on June 6th, 2017 to embark on a journey with DCE.

Ryan is a university student that has played video games his entire life. Nicholas has been in and out of the esports scene for years prior to establishing DCE. He has been a player for amateur and professional teams in Halo, CSGO, and COD since 2007.

Current Rosters Overview:

Over 29 players across 5 esport titles:

DCE are looking to expand into various other esport titles soon, including LoL, Overwatch and iRacing.

What this Partnership Means?

DCE will actively participate within our esports ecosystem. They will compete in our competitions and become a founding participating team within the future of the esports industry.

We will actively work with Dragon Caliber on the integration of DCE tokens into their infrastructure. Used in tandem with IGG, the tokenised component will enhance monetisation of their fan base and beyond. DCE will enable our new partner to provide a completely different value proposition to their community and the wider public.

DCE, as well as all our other partners, will play a role in our SR candidacy plans and the Intergalactic Foundation. We aim to bring esports to the Tron network so we will work with our partners to create mass adoption plans for esports on the IG platform.

We will be releasing further information regarding our layered tokenised model. For now, it is important to note that we will limit the number of tokenised teams within the IGGalaxy to a maximum of 32. This is to ensure that we are able to provide effective support to these teams so that they are well equipped to build impactful brands within esports.
